The Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Soludo was in Enugwu Otu Aguleri yesterday to felicitate with the the King of the community, His Royal Highness, Igwe Emmanuel Igbago Ejior as he celebrated his 1st year on the throne in Enugwu Otu Aguleri Anambra State.
Professor Charles Soludo commended the monarch for his leadership qualities not just to Enugwu Otu people but to the state and Nigerians, at large.
Governor Soludo noted that the town of Enugwu Otu is like an elephant with huge resources that could build the entire state through Agriculture.
He however expressed dismay over the level of infrastructural decay in the town, noting that his administration would address the issue of roads and other factors affecting the town.
The State House of Assembly candidate for YPP in 2023 general election, Hon Emma Nnazor, and other dignitaries also attended the 2023 Igwe Omelora’s Ovala celebrations.
The monarch assured his support for Emma Nnazor and urged his subjects to vote him in the forthcoming election.

MMEKO UMU AGULERI ASSOCIATION (MUA)
The name Mmeko Umu Aguleri has been launched into existence to restore the knowledge of our people about our culture and traditions.
The new organization is non-governmental and non-profit voluntary and undertakes human development in the lead-up to a comprehensive and sustainable development, said the President of the association, Mr Udealor Lawrence ( Onyenia Obi Obulu Dike).
"Mmeko Umu Aguleri is a non-profit organization aimed at improving the quality of lives of the underprivileged in low-income areas in Aguleri".
"The organisation is dedicated to improving the socio-economic wellbeing of the Agulerians through improved access to quality education and healthcare in addition to cultural enrichment. We teach Igbo culture, traditional methods of improving our health system we also give teachings on security and marriage".
"The body(MUA) aimed to provide good roads, drainage system, street lights, assist youths employment ,grant aids to flood victims, education support system ,empowerment and improve agriculture in our community"

INVITATION TO APPLY 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Board of Trustees of DR. EDITH CHINEZE EJOH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP invites applications
for SCHOLARSHIP AWARD from suitably qualified female students of Aguleri Origin who want to study or are already studying Education or Medicine in any Nigerian University.
The scholarship is valued at N200,000.00 (Two hundred thousand naira) only per session and for a
limited number of person/persons to be selected strictly based on merit and on first come first
served basis.
Requirements include evidence of a good WAEC or GCE or NECO, NCE, JAMB result, JAMB letter of
Admission or letter of evidence of already studying in a University and an Identification letter from
the Traditional Ruler of Aguleri evidencing the applicant as a native of AGULERI.
