It has been observed that the perceived desperation of a contending political party, APGA in the March 18th House of Assembly election could threaten the integrity of the traditional rulers in Aguleri and the entire Anambra East if care is not taken.
With barely 3 days to the House of Assembly election, the supporters of the APGA candidate have continued to drag the revered and well respected traditional stools in Aguleri and the entire Anambra East into partisan politics. Threatening to write their names in Governor Soludo's bad book if they don't comply.
The desperate group have made so many moves to force other candidates from Anambra East to step down for the APGA candidate, when it could not work out, they resorted to using one Mrs Nkalu, to share propaganda with the names of our well respected traditional rulers.
Does it mean that, Bar Obi Nweke is afraid of going into the poll with YPP and Labour party candidates ? Even at that, should that be enough reason for these desperate moves to drag the names of our well respected traditional rulers into the murky waters of Nigeria politics ?
Igwes are seen, across the Igbo land, as the custodians of our culture and, as such, are expected to be neutral father figures in their respective domains.
Some of them, like Eze Akajiofor are so highly regarded in their areas of influence that they are also accorded spiritual authority as well. Because their authority is rooted in tradition and culture, they readily command the respect of all their subjects.
Traditional rulers, ideally, reciprocate this reverence by not taking sides in contestable matters, like politics. Because of this, many of them are seen as pillars of stability not only in their various communities but in their states and, in some cases, in the whole country.
If there is no attempt to ridicule the names of Ndi Igwe in Aguleri and the entire Anambra East, how would one open his mouth to say that Ndi Igwes invited their two sons?
Who were those Igwes that invited them ? let any Igwe that was aware of such formal invitation come out to the open and tell the medium he used to do that..was it through the town criers, Ndi Ojiana , Ndi Ichie or by mere assembly of two or three persons who claim to be APGA stakeholders ?
It is laughable to say the least that, one or two persons, who incidentally belong to a political party, will bestow themselves, without any shame the right of lording themselves over others.
Yes, we are yet to hear of a candidate from ONITSHA or Nnewi playing politics with the names of their traditional rulers. Definitely,they cannot play politics with the names of the first class Igwes like, Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnewi etc.
The APGA candidate must quickly come out to apologize and disassociate himself from the propaganda, else the good people of Anambra East will blame him for allegedly disrespecting the traditional stools of the communities in Anambra East.

She solved a lot of problems for her followers which attracted her a lot of love, respect and popularity.
Indeed, the family and friends in the society and the entire Omabala people will miss Mrs Obukaodiroalo.
