The immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willy Obiano was not present at the one year anniversary of Governor Charles Soludo held in Awka yesterday.
The absence of the former Governor and other persons who made it possible for him to win the Governorship election send a message with various interpretations by various audience, most especially the Anambrarians.
Firstly, did he actually invite the former Governor Obiano to the occasion?
It is observed that during Governor Soludo's speech, he failed to acknowledge that the event center was a project of his predecessor.
Also, In the just concluded general election, both Ex Governor Obiano's wife and Hon Chinedu Obidigwe lost raises a big question whether Governor Soludo actually did his best to reward them for making him the Governor.
However, Chief Obiano as a former Governor should be a stakeholder in the state. It is not expected that Aguleri should return to square one after producing a Governor for eight good years.
Chief Obiano's early retirement in active politics is not good for Ndi Aguleri.
