The remains of Umungalagu Task force chairman Mr Chukwudi Nwakwudo popularly known as "Labista" killed by suspected cultists last month will be laid to rest on August 26th 2023.
He died at the age of 37.
A burial arrangement released by Umungalagu village Assembly Chairman, on behalf of his family says the late Chukwudi would be buried in his family compound Umungalagu Ivite Aguleri Anambra East local government area of Anambra State.
He was killed by suspected cultists last month while enforcing a law on no smoking of Indian hemp in public places. He clashed with the cultists who assassinated him and disappeared immediately from the scene.
The suspected killers are still at large at the time of filling this report as all efforts to trace them proved abortive. Ndigwe also used the opportunity to call on friends and well wishers to support the deceased family in the burial ceremony.
