The President General of Aguleri community Assembly Barr Rolex Iloakasia said he received death threats from suspected late Dubem's family members.
The death of a 22-year-old Dubem from Enugwu Aguleri at the hands of Awkuzu State CID of police has sparked one of the youths largest civil uprisings in Aguleri.
The deceased was allegedly beaten to death by his cell mate while being detained for allegedly participating in the violent burial in Aguleri.
The suspect was said to had been arrested at Angel suit Aguleri where he was breaking bottles with his group few days after the burial.
However, an unconfirmed report from the family member states that the Deceased Dubem did not participate in the last violent burial of an Eziagulu Otu man.
Speaking further, Rolex said that
Aguleri Town Union is committed to providing a safe environment for Ndi Aguleri as well as other people living in the community. "The spate of violent crimes in Aguleri is unprecedented. The time is now to get it right and we are ready.
The death of Chidubem is a sad one, may God console Aguleri"
The PG added that In recent times, Aguleri Children are dying almost daily. "We are consulting with Ndi Igwe and Ndi Ichie to get to the root cause of these sudden deaths. It is no news that drug abuse has taken center stage among our young ones. Drug abuse births all manner of crimes. We will take the war to the dealers and bring sanity to our dear community"
