Vigilante Group in Aniocha has arrested a suspected kidnapper terrorizing Aguleri junction, Nsugbe T Junction and other communities in Anambra East. The arrested suspect confessed to be part of the recent spate of kidnapping-for-ransom around Aguleri junction and other parts of Anambra East.
The suspect was caught in GLK Mercedes Benz, he snatched from his victim in Aguleri junction where he was trying to sell it in Agulu last night.Gun and a lot of charms were also recovered from him.
The family of the victim was said to had paid a ransom of 5 million naira to the kidnappers, but they seized the car and they have gone for robbery killing 2 people with the Jeep.
The suspect, an Indigene of Enugu State is married to a lady from Agulu.
He has been transferred to Anambra State CID for further investigation and possible prosecution.
