AGULERI TRADITIONAL MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA-THE NEXT BIG THING IN OMABALA AREA.

The maiden edition of the highly anticipated Aguleri music festival, is set to hold on September 9th 2023 at Ugwu na Adegbe primary school field Aguleri.
The event is meant to captivate audiences and promote the Omabala and Aguleri indigenous Egwu Ekpili music. Under the sponsorship of Prof. Charles Ochie, a Professor of Forensic sciences and criminology at Albany University Georgia and Dr John Nwofia a co promoter of the event.He is the medical Director of Pain and Spine Hospital, Tennessee US. .
According to the organisers at a press unveil earlier today, this maiden event promises to be big and very exciting, with a star-studded lineup of performances, immersive and insightful panel discussions on collaborations and partnerships that can have immense benefits to all stakeholders within and outside the traditional music industry.
The festival will feature the best Egwu Ekpili performers, Ikwa Abu, Egwu Ogene, Igba Akwunechienyi,local highlife etc.
Artistes will compete to win prizes. This initiative allows for collaboration of artistes in Omabala area to try out new songs and promote peace, Unity and social development. It will be an amazing and unforgettable musical jamboree.
Other organizers are : Ik Chinwuba, Tony Onuora, Arinze Okafor, Hon Barr Chukwudi Onyejekwe and J. Izuoba.
Special Guest of Honour at the event will be Anambra state commissioner for culture and Tourism.
