Today is his 50th birthday and I want to begin by thanking God for lifting him up to where he is today.
Eselu Aguleri had a very humble beginning, born in the outskirt of Umueje Ayamelum local government Area by Late Ogbuevi Obudiegwu and Late Mrs Mbanugo Ofordile. His father was popularly known as "Obudiegwu Omenjo" from Okene Igboezunu Aguleri.
Eseli as a young boy went into apprentice in Onitsha after his early school life and subsequently traveled to Lagos for greener pasture. Like a letter of Julius Caesar to the Roman Senate in 47 BC, after he had achieved a victory in a short war, Eseli Came to Lagos, he saw the latest business on ground and he finally conquered. No wonder in one of Late Ogbatuluenyi's popular album , he said, " Eseli na ewuzi" meaning that Eseli was the rave of the moment.
When they say that Eseli is a leader, it depicts steadfastness, faithfulness and commitment to duty. His non tenurability as the President of Omabala Youth has made him the Paul Biya of Omabala zone. As a result, all the Governorship aspirants in Anambra state usually consult him as a political leader of the zone.
Eseli is loved by many. He mingles with the poors and the rich. He doesn't discriminate. He is a leader of the educated, non educated and even Ndi ajo mmadi. That's why he is called Eseli Igbo leader. He is also a leader in the prestigious Festac town secretariat Association. A club that is adjudged as one of the most prestigious clubs in Nigeria.
Eseli Aguleri is happily married with cute children. He has also succeeded in giving all his children a bright future by providing them with qualitative education in the far away America.
