JUDGEMENT DAY IN ANAMBRA EAST AND WEST FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

The Tribunal sitting in Awka Anambra State will today by 10 am deliver judgement on Anambra East and West Federal constituency election between Hon Chinedu Obidigwe of APGA against Hon Peter Udeogalanya Anekwe of Labour party.
Hon Obidigwe's Lawyer, Arthur Obi Okafor ( SAN) is seeking for a rerun in 4 polling units of Umungalagu, Umuawunu, Ameze and Olumbanasa.
The supporters of Hon Obidigwe are hopeful that if the tribunal grants the prayers of the plaintiff, he will gather over 1,000 votes from the disputed 4 polling units, who are believed to be his strong hold and upturn the margin of Labor party candidate, who was declared winner of the February 2023 election with a slim margin of 1066 votes.
